Canadezen fietsen Elfstedentocht:

MAKKUM (NL) – Behalve dat er dit jaar opvallend veel Belgen via Friesland Holland Tourist Information en Friesland Holland Travel de provincie binnenkomen, valt ook de toename van Canadezen op. 

Ze zijn dolenthousiast, getuige deze mail en foto’s die het bureau voor toerisme in Wolvega ontving: “Good Morning. Thanks so much for making the beautiful T-shirts and the medals. This was a nice touch for us and a great memory. We will cherish these always. We are thinking of doing the Tour de France next time. Well maybe not. We did have a great time and the biking was not as hard as we thought. Friesland is still moi. See you sometime in the future. Groetjes Theresa and Andy and Pat and Bob.”
